It can also be used after washing the hair, although it is an oil-based product, so some do not prefer the feel. I prefer to use it before showering.

Directions for use: Apply to wet or dry hair and gently massage into the scalp, or comb through hair. Let soak into scalp for up to 30 minutes and rinse out thoroughly. Can be used once daily.
